A few details: Peri graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 1983 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and went on to get a Master’s of Science in Taxation from Bentley University, and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School. An active member of the community, she remains passionate about helping to provide low-income children with health care – a cause near to her heart, as her sister passed away at age 8 at a time when her parents did not have health insurance.

The first thing you might notice about Peri is a strikingly sunny attitude. She’s one of those people who wakes with a smile on her face and ends even the toughest day the same way. When asked how she manages to keep the light in an often chaotic and heavy world, she answers “well, what’s the alternative?”
This pragmatic response reflects a clear-eyed approach to most problems, allowing Peri to break down vast complexity into achievable solutions. With an experienced view of the whole, a seasoned eye for detail, and a surprisingly unshakeable optimism, she quickly identifies a path and sets out — step by step — to get there. On any given Sunday you’ll find Peri making breakfast at home with Robert “Bobby” Lieberman, her husband of 30 years and counting, and their much-loved dog, Guntseh.
